Training Overview

In order to get qualified you will need to complete these three Fire courses: S-190, L-180, S-130, and the FEMA courses: ICS-100 & IS-700.

Courses

The Blended Training Program consists of the five online courses listed above, which take roughly 40 hours to complete, and a 48-hour Field Training in Eugene, OR.

The 5-day In-Person Program will provide more physical and hands on training than the Blended Course. Classroom training will cover all of the material in the online Fire courses, and the hands-on skills required will be covered outside of the classroom hours. You would only be required to do the online course work for the FEMA IS-100 and the ICS-700.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OFFERED TO NEW FIREFIGHTERS:

Our training offers a hands-on experience that will prepare you for the in-field work and responsibilities of Wildland Firefighting. Upon completion of the program, you will be a qualified Firefighter ready to help with the ongoing wildfire suppression efforts.
